Hugely overpriced for what it is, cosmetics. I have a 595 Compitizione remapped to 230bhp, I know what I would rather have.

Torque steer off the scale. Rock hard ride. Gorgeous looking, nice noise from the exhaust, go kart handling. Nowhere near even the same league as Cooper S or Works.

My friend has one and he absolutely loves it

But they are at a premium and more for a collector

They did a Yamaha version which is extremely similar - in a lovely blue colour and without such a heavy premium

Has anybody driven or owned one?
I'm interested in your thoughts.

Not worth the premium by any stretch of the imagination as they are no different to the standard 695 I believe except some flashy leather and little Maserati replica wheels. Save a shed load and get the standard car that is a hoot to drive.

We had a 695 and JCW on extended loan back to back. As nice as the Mini was, the 695 was just a hoot and would be my preference.

Thanks all, as I am starting to fall in love with the concept.
Looking to retire sooner or later, with a move near the seaside and would want a little run about with, let's be honest, an elitist edge.
Bordeau Pontevichio is just about my favourite Maserati colour plus the trident wheels look awesome.
Heaven help me if a matching GranTourismo ever came on the market.
I would think about upgrading the standard Fiat black carpet to a quality plush burgundy to offset the cream seats perfectly.
Watch this space......

I have to say I’m a sucker for those mini-Neptune alloys too!

Thanks for confirming as I read one online review that mentioned the luggage too.
There are 3 cars for sale in Aus at the moment. 1 is a one owner, low kilometre lady's car in the expensive suburbs of Sydney.
So chances are the luggage is there but forgotten to mention.
