Good morning everyone, last working day today. Then I'll be working for myself for 22 days. Not self-employed just cracking on with the house renovations.

Morning all, bit of a lay in after the exuberant day yesterday. In Leeds first with a surfacing repair and being joined by Christine in a bit. Later to Hull by the bridge for multiple repairs then we’ll drive to Essex in convoy.

Morning all. After busy day yesterday it's in the office to do some work.

And hopefully get paid for some of my hard (ish) work.

Then to spend some more on stuff for the house. Internal door latches, hinges and handles is todays expense.

Any recommendations of where to go? The Wickes website is hard work (on my phone at least).

Ironmongery Direct is my usual port of call or DoorfurnitureDirect ( used to be Bernards in Birkenhead but sadly they've closed the physical store). Loads more choice than the sheds and I've always had much better quality.

Wow, what a tough day! Just got in after convoy drive back from Hull with Christine. The weather started with drizzle about 10 and just got progressively heavier till we crossed the Humber!

In my defence for stupid o’clock we are an hour in front here.

Morning, 5:43am and the temp thingy outside my apartment is already showing 25degs. Gona be a hot one

Morning Matt, morning C, morning all……Sounds like the perfect weather before you get back to old Blighty Matt. Feels colder here this morning…I’m not liking the darker mornings and having to put the fire in in the lounge this morning.
