Speaking of forum member purchase, wasn't there a wager of sorts for who would be first?

I can shorten the odds a little... as much as I love this - the look and the fact that its less held back than recent Masers, I wont be the first to be buying one... unless my lottery comes in!!

just wrote to my MD (Chile): first examples will arrive in 1 year, sold. General stock 2 years! I'll take a seat...

There are two doing the rounds in the UK so hopefully the other one will find it's way to your neck of the woods
The salesman that called me to tell me the bad news about the HR Owen mess said that it was the only one in the country. Hopefully he was wrong and we'll be able to see it in the flesh a little sooner.

Indeed, let's hope so Mick

I was tempted to buy one before I bought my centennial Stradale, although it looks lovely it’s missing that “theatre/drama” and “the noise” you would expect from a super car, not a patch noise wise against the MC12 or even stradale.... plus a big risk of epic depreciation. The MC20 reminds me too much of the Alfa 4c. Sorry but I’m out. Yes I would love one but best part of £200k or more with options put me off, as that is used Lambo Aventandor or similar with big change left in your pocket.

I was thinking this as well. Hopefully Maserati won’t leave it to wither on the vine whilst they get something in place that more people can buy.

The 4c is great but Alfa didn’t offer anyone for people looking at it to buy instead. At the time the Giulietta QV was the next step down. People looking at the MC20 need a GT car to step down to, not a saloon or SUV. Time is ticking, the GT needs to appear next year.

I am confident the new GT will appear next year as are the dealers but I agree, it is essential that it does

If this is what they were doing at HR Owen then you can see why the car got dented! I’m sure they could have found a bigger trailer.

On the plus side, it sounds pretty decent for a 3l turbo.

Reversing up that slope will knacker the clutch!

Don‘t think much of the sound it makes….

It's stunning. The Lotus looks good and I like it very much, but next to the MC20 every penny of the price difference becomes very clear,

Still don't like that stick-on screen in the MC20, though. I'm sure the dash blah blah could have been much better. Maybe it's better in the flesh.
Not convinced for the price difference so far. Will reserve judgment until I've seen both cars in the flesh though. The lack of V8 in the MC really kills it dead and £200k price tag is a **** take. Might visit when they are £80k in 3 years.

That driver did my head in! Yes it's an expensive car and probably a prototype still but jesus man how hesitant can you be? Just go and move.....
It was almost painful to watch. Remind me to never let this guy drive my GS... clutch wear would probably double in one sitting!
