I bought one couple months ago and had to figure out what's wrong with it, because it went off after warming off. Now it's repaired (CPS Sensor) and I drove it the first time a few weeks ago.

Definitely worth it! :)

So, if you have the money do it.

I personally think we will still have the joy to drive such kind of cars more than 10 or 15years, but it will get more and more expensive. Not because of the fuel, but because of the taxation....

When I went to school through the late 90s I was taught that fossil fuel would run out by the 2030s... are we all gearing up for a "Mad Max" world? If we are then I look forward to buying a Ferrari 250 for 50p in a decade.
even if it's just to look at!

These may not be the most sensible cars to buy, but life is short and we should enjoy it whilst we can.
I a meeting at the park at the meeting at
I must be one QPq if those YouTube wazzocks because I love driving in London, especially the west end, the sound of a Maserati accelerating up Regents Street is quite something. I have a board meeting at London Bridge later this month and have every intention of taking the Strad.

Actually, driving into London really early, before the city wakes up, is in fact one of life's great pleasures. While the streets are clogged with cars, taxis, buses, vans and humans... not so much. Get in before 0730 and enjoy the sound of V8 bouncing off the walls.

What happened to the synthetic petrol possibilty?

There's also LPG if petrol is taxed to death. I have converted a couple of cars to LPG over the years (a big SUV and a daily commuter) and have bought a couple already converted.

Half the price of petrol and only a minimal loss of power / mpg due to lower calorific value makes conversions viable if you do big miles

Had a V6 156 on LPG. Worst part was the (LPG) tank range

That would mean QP boot space would be 0 public feet!

I had a Cadillac CTS with LPG, wasn't bad on it.

Where's London? Drove through there last about a decade ago. Got a ticket for the nose of my car being inside a box junction for under 30 seconds £120 YOU WHAT? Wrote THIEVING LONDON SCUM on the back of the cheque (life's little pleasures). Swore I'd never go back and haven't.
(Hope this helps).
PS Buy it

Agree cities when they are empty are great places to drive, once drove through Paris in the early hours it was awesome feeling

London used to be like that. I’d work there on a Saturday, stay over, park outside the School of Tropical Medicine and have a wander round the British Museum, can’t do that any more.

Paris at night in the early hours is amazing at any other time it's stressful to the max.
I’ve been caught out in Paris plenty of times. It’s really difficult to find a route that misses the traffic when coming from the south east. I usually pay and use the tunnel but it doesn’t cut out all the traffic.

I can remember going to Paris in the 80’s and hitting traffic on the Periferique like I had never seen before in my life..of course with paper road maps and the stress for the map reader (and the relationship with the driver ). Now you just shout at Google if they get it wrong - which is a lot less than you used to shout at the human map reader after missing an exit…

One of my early morning runs - sorry for the wind noise

Great video, and yes early morning runs can be quite special. you might want to blank out the speed reading on that before you circulate it too much ;)

I’m gonna buck the trend here.
Don’t buy it. The fact you’re asking others tells me you’ve got doubts.

Have a shower, regroup and save up and get a decent Qp/Gt gts from elsewhere.....Dicky.
Just saying.

That’s been on the net for years - but I take your point. I have no idea who was driving that day ;)
