When I put the spoof post up i expected the debate to be about Paul Weller's band or Eric Clapton.
Didn't realise that you would get so excited about jam and cream, foreplay and potatoes.
Will it ever end.

Its got to be jam first.... just like you put milk in tea after you've poured it, not before, otherwise there no knowing how strong It'll be!

This is correct - milk goes in last, however this is not the traditional way, milk goes in first because back in e day when firing techniques for clay where not as sophisticated or controlled - also the use of bone China - hot liquids could crack the cup, therefore putting milk in first lessened the shock on the chinaware.
I like HOT tea so milk goes in last!

On a different note, who discovered cows milk tasted good in tea and what the f##k did he think he was doing extracting it in the first place?

Can only drink tea black unsweetened.
With milk is simply vile!
