My 1921 Ford model T had one of those
The spring acts as a suspension link on a model T, it’s just a spring, like a coil or torsion bar on a Vette.

Good to see a man after my own heart - truly enjoys winding up the OCD's on here (no need to explain, they'll do it shortly).
Just testing it’s not actually fixed as I’ve got to thread the capillary through the bulkhead.
Have to get a move on as the Mini is coming back from storage on Wednesday
Filler cap mounting plate made up to fit the standard hole

Mounts for fuel pump, filter and diff cooler made, tank mount bolted in place to gauge position for diff pump

Dash panel built up

And the other two points...
The fuel filler isn’t bolted in either.
What’s the third?
You must have really controlled yourself when you went and looked at the LHD GT for me then mateNot for me to say, I’m happy for people to run around holding their heads screaming NO, NO, NO!
No OCD here...
