In the normal diesels with dpf we have owned, we have only ever had one warning about taking for a drive and that was her old a4 cabriolet. But the RR was pretty much every 100 miles of so. I had an obd tool that could monitor soot levels, I was paranoid in the end and was changing diesel laden oil every 3000 milesThat's what I thought. A friend bought his wife a 1.9tdi VAG box but she did frequent 4 or 5 mile journeys so it was only doing about 25mpg for that reason. He would borrow it and take it for a long run to see what was wrong and manage 50 mpg!
Must admit it was immaculate and not a thing wrong.
Looking at Range Rovers now. One of them cars I’ve never had but always wanted.

Congrats on the sale, that looked a lovely car. You sound like me, always fancied a RR - never had one.Must admit it was immaculate and not a thing wrong.

Nothing wrong with going through a list of cars you always wanted.
I used to work with a guy who’s son worked at the local Land Rover main dealer, he used to send in some scary photos from the workshop. Body off stuff to find electrical faults!
Make sure you buy a good one like the QP
If you are going RR the guys on fullfatrr know their stuff. Just do not expect the same experience as on here. This is by far the best forum for content, banter and laughsJust like the QP I always buy the best I can afford. It pays off in the end.
