Radiator arrived today. I took a punt on one that wasn’t for a Vette as they’re about £500 more.

Fits though!

Only had to modify one of the original mounting brackets, don’t look too closely at the welding

Bit tight, it’s a two core but with inch cores so I reckon it’s about as big as I could fit in.

I’ve got a little oil filled radiator I’ve been leaving in overnight. Which is pretty good and keeping it from getting too cold in there. And a blower which heats it up really quickly. Kinda dreading the electric bill!

Garage is 45mm wood so pretty insulated. Floor is cold though. I don’t remember a concrete floor bring this cold before. Should have insulated it. But having dug a 6m square 300mm deep hole by hand another 100mm for insulation would’ve killed me. I’m going to get some carpet floor tiles I think

A mate of mine covered his concrete floor with the thin insulation used when installing electric underfloor heating and then put 15mm ply over the top, quick and simple, not too expensive and remarkably effective.
