As title really, I am after a 4.7 S auto, ideally in a dark exterior colour (anything other than white or silver) with a cream/light interior. I don’t think my budget will stretch to a 2013 on facelift but a 2010-2012 would be perfect. I’m not in a rush to buy (although it will be a 40th birthday present to myself) so if anyone is thinking of selling in the next few months please let me know!

Impeccable taste and great 40th present. I guess you are aware of Dicky and Nuvola. If not use the search to find out more. Good luck with the search and remember inspection is key.

Thanks. Aware of both and have been keeping an eye on Dicky’s stock but I think my budget might not stretch to one of his fine vehicles. Nuvola a bit far from me as I am in the frozen wastelands of the north (Leeds). But I shall take a look!

You should consider travelling for the exact car you want when it’s a Maserati.
Better if it’s local, but a train or even a plane ride (after covid!) is no big deal for the right car. You get to have a nice long drive home too in your new car!

Thats not far for the right car. As gb-gta says. Be prepared to travel for the right one. There are a lot of questions that can be asked before hand and if it stacks up you can get a ppi before travelling if need be.

I'm in Leeds and have a Granturismo S. Not for sale but more than happy for you to pop over and take a good look without sellers pressure happy to answer and questions you may have.
Not sure how it works with social distancing but always happy to try and help!

That’s a very kind offer, one which I will take you up once we are the other side of this peak if that’s ok?In terms of travelling for the right car, very happy to travel anywhere for the right one, I was thinking more in terms of covid related restrictions meaning London is a bit out of reach at the moment. With a purchase like this I would want to have a look in person before making a deal. My last big purchase (another birthday present to myself) was sourced from Maidstone and I drove it back up in snow which was quite an experience with a 500bhp tail happy Jag...
