I totally agree, if there was a UK based option I would prefer that, but at the moment I don’t believe there is sadly.

For GranTurismo too?
Thinking about the 1 & R buttons.

You might find it easier to simply replace the 1 and R switch panel...I did the DIY, think I found instructions on here somewhere.

Picked up the switch brand new from Eurospares for about £150

I am about to have a new F1 switch panel ( R 1 ) fitted and I plan to experiment on the original worn / chipped one.

£135 on Eurospares for a new one. I’m sorely tempted as mine looks tatty. Anyone know how easy or difficult they are to replace ?65221

Mine was ordered by Dale of Prestige as he gets a main dealer discount - £186. Delivered - go figure .........

I did mine last year having bought a new replacement from Eurospares (just check it’s a brand new one for £135)

Fairly straight forward to switch out from memory, took about an hour or so with a bit of fettling through paranoia of breaking expensive plastic!

I’m sure there was a walk through guide on here I followed but can’t find it now...give the search button a try

Has anyone tried the button sticker kits available on Ebay?

I know that the Conaero solution is probably much better, but the thought of sending off my buttons to the US from NZ and having to wait for their return is too scary.

Just ordered a new plate from Eurospares. Will get AV to fit it when I’m next down there.

Thanks for the call yesterday. I'll send you a few sample buttons down. If you can send your address via msg I'll get some prepped and painted when at the paint shop over the weekend then post monday for you. If my job is up to spec as I said I'll sort your set out free. Regards Rol.

Guys, I must recommend Roland of StickyPlastics highly.

I sent him over my 1/R MC shift buttons only last week in no particular hurry for the repair, and he returned back to me Special Delivery today...all well packaged and looking great.

Of course it’s now down to durability but the OEM wear really does let the car down and the finish Roland has given looks and feels good so I recommend enough if any of you are looking to have your button units refinished.
