Likewise. The good old Stolly. If I got one it would have to have the swim kit fitted and a sponsor that pays for the fuel.
You could always go for the supermini of armoured vehicles, the ferret. No need for an 'arm day' with these.

Spare a thought for the Mazda 3 driver that gets hit by a stupid SUV driver with the attention span of a goldfish who’s texting. Or even your Mrs if she gets hit by a Range Rover. Having an extra half ton of thin steel around you doesn’t make you invulnerable, although most SUV drivers think it does and drive accordingly.

Doesn't make you invulnerable. But for your loved ones you give them the best opportunity of surviving an accident.
That's just human nature.

Interesting philosophical question: would you rather have someone else's death or disfigurement on your conscience, or yours on theirs?

Research suggests that the roads would be safer without them. I refer the tired and bored reader to my previous comment regarding one person talking too loudly and everyone else having to shout to be heard over the top of them.

Every man for himself. Run away from danger, throwing women and children behind you.

I’m surprised by the strength of feelings expressed here against SUVs... and against Range Rovers in particular...

I have a 2016 Range Rover Sport as our family car, and I think it‘s a fabulous car that excels in lots and lots of different ways, and which gives me, my wife and kids the best possible combination of safety, confidence, comfort, luxury, practicality, etc, etc... it’s also (IMHO) a bloody impressive piece of engineering, and without doubt the most comfortable grand tourer out there (except for possibly a full fat RR)…

Admittedly it should be bloody good as it’s not cheap, but it‘s a great car that is so much more than an off-road 4*4…

Not necessarily against SUVs, just threads about ‘em! I’ve got a 10 year old Freelander 2. Which has been great, but I do live in the country! Proceed.....!

It ought to be Jon, it’s used more resources than 8 of Benny’s cars added together -don’t you know.
Edited, apologies, it’s first thing here!

Spare a thought for “whoever” gets hit by the talentless sports car driver.......who thinks they’re a better driver than they actually are......perhaps they should have bought an SUV and just poodled around in comfort instead.

I wager that 80% of the sentiment is expressed to provoke a response.

Light blue touch paper and retire to a safe distance. Never return to a lit thread.

Well, that's clearly yet another crock of ****. An Audi is not a supercar and nor is a Mercedes.

(see post #77)
