Would love to jump on this bandwagon, but I am not sure I can handle it. I have no problem wrenching, did my own heater core, and have no issues swapping headunits on other vehicles. I guess if we had this down to a step by step, I would feel a lot more comforatble.
I've been playing with the STL file to support my Joying 10.25" Android Screen.
The Joying looks good. Do you mind if I ask where you are going to mount the main module?
No problem if you're removing/moving the NIT/screen. There will be space above the airbag ecu for that module - probably easier access to it too.I’m making up a long 40 pin IDC ribbon for the screen so I can mount the main unit where the factory double DIN unit goes.
Purely for reference:I wish something like this could be done for the GT. It's arcane sitting there in the dash.

The existing ribbon cable (looks like an old PC IDE cable) should be long enough.
Thanks!

CD-RGB150E. Specifically for their hub based systems.Cheers, i thought as much and planned the same. I have to check if I can extend the dedicated cable of the Pioneer unit I have in mind.
