Blink and the empty child were far and away the best episodes of the modern series , both episodes scared my kids , a lot , reminded me of my childhood

Totally agree. The Empty Child was proper scary, although the end was a bit pants.

Anybody old enough to remember the children of the stones , that freaked me out a bit too

We had proper stuff when we were young. Proper peril and threat ;) Yes I do

Wonderful pics there, Sam! I was on the phone with Matt of this parish whilst watching similar colours over my road but the sudden downpour stopped me from taking the camera out.

Today, I offer you a wildlife picture - it's not a great photo but the subject is just cool. Crazy black bumble bee with massive blue eyes! Taken in Galle, Sri Lanka, overlooking the cricket ground and the creature's body is about the size of my thumb.

They really are beatifully spec'd cars, Murray. What was your role in the project? AM Cambridge looks after my Vantage and I know some of the team there that were down in LM for the handovers.

My role was to look after the paint work and carbon on all 24 cars. I machine polished about 18 of the cars at the dealership to remove marks from the factory
Once at LM, 3 of us prepared all 24 cars after every trip out to the track or photo shoot. We were lucky enough to double up as drivers.....was just fantastic event to be involved in. Have worked with AM Cambridge for around 6yrs, also involved with the Red Arrows and Spitfire handovers.
Just a great team at Cambridge...your in good hands

If that was the series set in a detached and isolated house, where man sized (or bigger) haystack shaped stones appeared in a big field and slowly approached the house, without being seen to move, then yep.
I still regularly have the odd dream that's exactly the same, or a variation of. Must be forty odd years later.
Bizarre eh :)

That was it , I googled it , 1977 , I was 16 in 1977 , if only I'd spent my first months wages on star wars toys instead of a fs1e and petrol :D
