Like most on here I have more than one car, at the moment :
Jaguar XJ
Granturismo
1965 Mustang
As a treat my wife has booked us tickets to a drive in movie at Knebworth House to see The Blues Brothers.
All good so far, so what registration number does she book the tickets?
The Jag - nope
The GTS - nope
The Mustang surely - nope !!!
Her daily hack and supermarket bumper car - Vauxhall Corsa - Yep ! - flipping believable!
Of course it can be changed, but she honestly can’t see the point :as003:

Perhaps she’s trying to tell you something.......
She has literally no interest, has not got a problem with me having what I want / we can afford, but even during lockdown I have given her the opportunity to change / upgrade but she sees no point....... and said no, happy with the Corsa.

Mine doesn't even know the registration number of her car, when it's needed she goes outside and takes a pic of it. I think I can remember 75% at least of all reg's of every car I've had.

ONC955W
HLS626S
A600OFO (wish I still had that one)
HLN958N
GXI3738
KAZ4221
C100BNF (which I still had this one too)
A13KEB (ditto!)
FD55UCV

It's nowhere near 75% - need to stop sniffing Ajax....

Surely,
It’s so SWMBO can drive while you enjoy a sip of your favourite tipple.....
thats a point, but there is no way we are going in her car, in any event I find married life easier if I lay off the booze and she gets tipsy :p

LOL....I get it. My wife has zero interest as well. She doesn't interfere in any of my car related activities so probably for the best.

I struggle to get in a car used as a daily by wife and children. Always seems to look like a bomb has just gone off.

Take the Mustang.....please!

Fortunately for me my Mrs loves cars which gives me a mostly free reign to splurge should I have the urge.
The only thing she gets fussy about is generally the colour.

Mrs C doesn't really get it. She loves her Alfas, but has no idea what an engine does. She likes it when I'm happy, and does like some of the cars we've had so it works quite well

No problem here, Sarah is more than happy to grab the keys for the SZ and take it out, she can't reach the pedals in the Fulvia and unfortunately the seatt is fixed

Mrs H is also a petrol head (she took her motorbike test because she hated being on the back of my bike) and has always had a passion for cars.

Interestingly, she has booked us to see Back to the Future at Warwick Castle as has not booked our 'nice' cars - her logic being "you will spill beer and drop popcorn!" and then be ****** off the whole film. Clever girl :)

That's a new thread right there. Past registrations.
