I bought it for VE Day to remind people it wasn't just Britain who won the war. Did the Sovs get involved in Malaya? My Uncle Ronnie was in that area in the war, Japanese snipers sent him over the edge, saw hardly him, he never spoke to us. Just stayed in his room until he died a few years back aged 90. Terrible.

It’s certainly not set up for racing, but it’s a complete blast off the lights smoking in 1,2,3 if I choose to- but to be fair they can be set up to handle surprisingly well - historic racing is the proof.
But personally I like to have my fun drifting the on roundabout !

A substitute for an Alpine scene - and it's close to our door step and not far from Shelsley Walsh - so mustn't grumble.
My Dad was part of 259 Field Company, Royal Engineers who were part of the 4th Infantry Divn at the Battle of Montecasino Feb -Nov 1944. Then he went off to Greece and then Jersey. Got given a box of x50 new Lugers still in their oiled packing paper from a Nazi officer. Kept them for years until one day he dumped them in the sea. Would have been worth a few quid today. My pops was in Malaya 1944 and 45 and 46 on british aircraft carriers as flight maintenance, went through the whole kamakazi bit on deck , would never ever talk about it , my uncle on the other hand , was dessert rat , came back up though Anzio , back to blighty for randr and got collared into dday landing on omaha beach , and loved every minute of it , and would never stop talking about it .............big fella but typical Uncle Albert
