I’ve got one similar somewhere, my Dad took it off a dead Communist insurgent in the jungles of Malaya. However, I’m reluctant to display it in case someone thinks I’m a Labour supporter.
I bought it for VE Day to remind people it wasn't just Britain who won the war. Did the Sovs get involved in Malaya? My Uncle Ronnie was in that area in the war, Japanese snipers sent him over the edge, saw hardly him, he never spoke to us. Just stayed in his room until he died a few years back aged 90. Terrible.

No. My old man was there during the ‘Emergency’ in the early 50’s. The Soviets did shoulder a lot from 41-45 but had it not been for the Artic convoys keeping them going, they might well have folded before Stalingrad. The Americans wanted to keep going after they got to Berlin and kick the Russkies out but didn’t have the cahones.

The American's didn't recognise the USSR till they saw them as a useful ally against the germans.

Loz is right. Even at standstill it looks like it is about to roll. ;)
It’s certainly not set up for racing, but it’s a complete blast off the lights smoking in 1,2,3 if I choose to- but to be fair they can be set up to handle surprisingly well - historic racing is the proof.
But personally I like to have my fun drifting the on roundabout !

Was Herbert standing on a box to make him look taller?
