spent a couple of hours completing the rear A frame/transaxle this afternoon, bit stumped now until alfa archives re-open and confirm paint code

Looking good, you might want to consider a short throw gear linkage it will transform the driving experience. Mine has one along with a 75 TS LSD box which stops that unladen rear wheel spinning up

LSD is very handy, where would I get a short throw linkage from?

<screams inwardly at memories of left hand thread adjusters>

now I get it, must of been frustrating and must remember that, reminds me of alfa junior gt that I bought from south Africa and seller saying that he tried everything to bleed the new rear callipers and just couldn't manage to get all the air out, transpired they were fitted on the wrong sides so bleed nipples were at the bottom

just me questioning what you meant and spelt it wrong, should of been "que" :D

Ah! I think che is actually ok (but Portuguese?) but the question mark may have helped ;)

Rear adjusters 3 go one way and 1 the other from memory

Pretty much. Lying on my back, feet sticking out from the rear, with the car on stands changing those pads, which you can't see because they go in from the top (sort of) and not understanding why the **** caliper wouldn't wind back.....

Really annoying if you don't know and the cause of many broken nipples

Alex Jupe has them manufactured but there are others not sure how good or not they are
