Apparently the safest place is the garage/workshop/man cave and I think the Mrs has swallowed that excuse, give it a try, , so I finally bagged a Giulietta and what a find incredibly good condition/spec and with just minor rust, owned by the same guy since 1986, genuine barn find by a trader I bought it from, I think there will be a lot of projects finished/strted this year, some pics of the new addition to the stable

Yes
My house project is going well for consuming time and a pleasing end point.
Weather is good too so garden beckons
Working from home has no draw backs for me!

Enjoy the Alfa :) I have also been able to find quality man cave time over the last week.

Have already stripped the Vespa down, serviced and rust proofed. About to finish touching up some paintwork and then going to rebuild.

Next up is a deep clean of my MV Agusta and a wheel / tyre change.

Then onto my TR6 which needs a full service and check over.

I will no doubt end up doing a few bits on the kids cars as well.

What a nice project.
I had a couple of Alfettas back in the day and loved them :)

Quite looking forward to the light resto, my farther in law had a really nice brown one in Italy years ago as a holiday car, only just found out that no one wanted to buy it in Italy when wanting to sell it some 10 years ago so he scrapped it

There has to be some sort of joke or comment on the new Octavia in that pic but I can’t work it out. Are they renowned for losing wheel nuts or something?

that is stunning and only 43k miles, who did the interior

I don't know before my time but I can find out, the front seats are Alfa 33 Recaro not the only mod. It is running C&B cams, tubular manifold, 75 TS gearbox, LSD and a quick shift, GTV 6 torsion bars, Eibach springs, 75 vented front discs and 4 pot callipers, a larger bore exhaust. Run a reliable 145BHP, corners dead flat and rides road imperfections extremely well, it's a properly sorted bit of kit mostly done by Alfa Aid 2 owners back.
