I seem to remember my kids playing a game on their phones about a killer virus and its rapid spread around the world a couple of years ago. The game was a strategy game where they set parameters and then let it play out across the 7 billion...

What if it wasn't a game. What a cruel trick!

I saw that News Item - unbelievable to see
Indeed, the astonishing thing with Gold is the weight.
A kilo bar is about 2/3rds the size of an iPhone 7 but weighs a kg (Obviously). When you go to pick it up its a bit of a mindfck.....something so small shouldn't weigh that much.....its almost as if its magnetic to what its sitting on.
Anyone ever gone to pick up what they thought was a full can of coke which was actually empty and you almost throw it at yourself.......well it's nothing like that.

Just coincidence?

COVID19 is a cr4p name.

In accordance with the WHO statement it should have been named Public Enemy Number 1 Syndrome or PEN1S.

That would inject some much needed humour on the subject into global news.

Women exposed to a small PEN1S infection would have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Whereas, less endowed Men Suffering large PEN1S infections would finally have something to boast about.

win win.

Perhaps they are lead bars painted gold. Maybe Gordon Brown sold them all and not just some of them.

Apparently some monkeys are now being blamed as they had it in some bio-weapons facility.
Look, I get the bats, the snakes and the ant eaters but I'm getting confused now, when did the monkeys come into play.
The bats spat at the snakes next door, sometime later someone then blamed the ant eaters for getting involved.
Did I miss something?

It was ring-tailed limas, Phil. They're notorious for building and releasing biological weapons, the little sods. Honestly, I think I've got trouble with starlings every year, but limas are loads more bother.
