From what I’ve read Churchill really wasn’t liked by other MPs at the time and an awful lot of them thought that continuing the war was a very bad idea.

That wouldn't surprise me. I would surprise me if he nipped down to the underground to find a cast of characters reminiscent of Mary Poppins telling him he was correct....

Watched this the other week but forgot to mention it was worth watching for those interested. I have to say I never knew who he was until this film.

Just watched Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman.

A didn't know quite a bit about him. He was still driving race cars at 82 years old not that long before he died. Pretty amazing but simple man.

Watched it last night on Amazon Prime.
Really enjoyed it, apart from Daniel Craig's American accent!

Started to watch this....got bored and fell asleep. I think Daniel Craig's accent didn't help. My son stayed the course and watched it all though.

Thread resurrection but with a twist.

Girls, 12 & 13, seem to have got into all the films we watched in the 80s, 90s & 00s, we have done all 4 Weddings, Notting Hill, Love Actually type, ET, Close Encounters, Ghostbusters etc. and we are just about to start Back to the Future ones

But what's next, Jurassic Park maybe, anyone got any other ideas don't want anything too graphic just fun family entertainment
