I find this quite palatable, cheap and cheerful, and easily drunk, and it's Italian :)

I've had an account at Berry Brothers for over a decade. I've a few cases of DP 2002, Krug 2002, Pol Roger 2002 and some 1977 Port and a load of 2006-2012 Reds. I'd say they are wasted on me and more for investment.

So, I centre on £9-11 bottles from the supermarkets of Kiwi Pinot Noir and Kiwi Sav Blanc. Sometimes SA Chenin Blanc. I used to be an avid CndP fan and Barolo (to an extent still am)... Occasionally I'll drink a punchy Argentine or Chilean (with steak). Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose. Rarely I go into Lidl and I'll sample their £4.50-5 wines; I found a cracking Chilean 9m ago and lifted over 80 bottles of wine when I went back! They lasted about 4 months...

A man of my own heart. I ended up the head auctioneer of Christie’s Wine & Cigar department, having worked there for 20 years. Hence building my own wine room and cigar room. Of course, classy cars just go along with my beliefs.. :alan2:
