And very well engineered for that period and so advanced against the competition that had drum brakes, push rod engines and 4 speed boxes not cheap to buy though.

Agreed, as you know I missed the boat on the HF they just went out of the budget I could get past the wife, so I had to settle for a 1.3 version albeit it a genuine Monte Carlo version

As you know I love yours and would happily have a 1.3.

If you go back to page 5 of this thread you will see how I came about owning the ex Barry Whizzo Williams car.
Really enjoying ownership so far, so much so the Lambo has hardly been out of the garage since July.

A pair of Cibies and I think it’s complete. Anything missing?

No but something it shouldn't have, all HFs have fixed front quarter lights, as far as i am aware, as do the real Monte Carlos and Safaris. Yours appears to have opening ones which I don't think is correct, are the doors aluminium?

Not surprising Fulvias are great fun to drive

So Alfaholics do the lovely restomod GTV’s, Eagle do their lovely E Type, Singer do 911’s, etc. etc. has anyone seen anything similar done with a Fulvia?

Tempted to do something similar with my 1600HF or would this be sacrilege?

A nice picture from a good venue just over the bridge in South Wales where I have competed in my Mk 1 Golf GTi and a Sierra Cosworth 4x4 many times Caerwent MOD training center.
Yesterday was the Ross Traders 2020 historic classic road rally and here is a lovely picture.

I'd leave a 1600HF as is; personally, would start with a less rare/valuable car.

I agree get a base Fulvia if you want to modify it, a Alfaholics style mod would be interesting although the Fulvia is pretty simple underneath which would limit options to a degree
