Got his sums wrong,

General election 2019: Corbyn concedes lower earners could pay more tax
Labour previously claimed only the top 5% of earners would pay more to fund public services.

Read in BBC News: https://apple.news/A5OdXQJuvRjOK7k8v7lzR-g

Yep, less than 2 million people will lose up to a £250 a year tax break. Headline making stuff. Certainly worth reporting that but ignoring what they will recoup elsewhere via the other proposals in the manifesto.
Yet more BBC bias leading the country astray, I despair.

Only from those earning >£80k per year

C

If you earn, say £85k a year, Labour will take an extra £250 from you in the year.
Someone earning £50k in Scotland already pays more than £1.5k more tax than their English counterpart, and you want to complain about two hundred and fifty quid from £85k...

So you borrow £58bn and give it to retirement age women, what do you think they do with it?
Do they:
a. Put it into offshore hedge funds and invest in foreign businesses
b. Spend it predominantly in the UK causing economic growth that leads to job creation and more employment means more money being paid, more taxes being paid, more economic growth...

Let’s not pretend that the tories stopped borrowing money, they didn’t. They have also left education in a state, the NHS in a state, more children in poverty than we should admit as one of the world’s richest countries...

a.

60-69 is the richest age group in the U.K.

My mate's great-grandad got 'IRA money' off the Irish State for his part in the Rising etc, a sort of pension. Lots did.

Any hope labour had has now gone. What an ars3 Corbyn is.

“Jeremy Corbyn has told Sky News that convicted terrorists should "not necessarily" serve their full prison sentences automatically after Boris Johnson said violent offenders "must serve every day of their sentence, with no exceptions".

But then Johnson makes a tit of himself again on Andrew Marr, advantage Labour....

Man that was excruciating...
