It will be very cheap motoring Dan......But is there an option of a brown paper bag to go over your head when driving it........ ;).......When driving it you will be the best looking part of the vehicle my friend.....

It was the truck pull that did it for me. You see, I currently own a F150, and the cybertruck appealled as the ultimate successor.

best of luck with that, but the truck pull was a load of tosh, from fake camera angles to support an up hill climb and the fact that the 4 wheel drive tesla thing is far heavier than the "2" wheel drive F150, so no real contest, complete bollox really

I dont care about 0-60, or the range, or even the looks, my worry is how big the ****** will be and what carnage it'll do to other cars and people it will inevitably hit.

EV's are flawed you still have to burn fossil fuels and mine Lithium etc to run them. The sooner everyone wakes up to this there can be a surge in Hydrogen cell vehicles which will make a difference!
If only there was a way to harness the power of the sun....

The cybertruck is not a publicity stunt, if it was or proves to be then Tesla's shares will be worthless and nobody, not least the Investors, want that!

So the deliverable is clear, it is the cybertruck albeit in a rejigged fashion to comply with safety etc (bumpers, mirrors etc)

I think it looks great! Nothing wrong with being outside the box. I'd have one happily.

Yep, and the batteries still only have a very finite shelf life. So in 10 years time you will face a 10k bill to buy new batteries and have to dispose of the old ones.

I don't mind it and Mrs H is seriously considering a deposit. My previous resistance to EV has been the range. I can virtually guarantee real world range will be less than 200 miles on the single motor.

Feel like we've seen it all before with Sir Clive Sinclair, not the end product but the media and circus.

I kinda fancy that flat but angled roof with a 200W solar panel integrated. Would probably top up quite nicely if parked accordingly.

Not sure why the tax payer should be forking out for charging points? Private companies are flooding the market with these Scalextric cars with very limited interest in how they will function once off the forecourt.
Because it is all our responsibilities and especially govts to envoke change in order to reduce C02 emissions. Of course the tax payer needs to pay our at least heavily subsidise investment for our charging infrastructure. Why not?

China, India, two examples for starters.
