Is this 456 known to any forum members?

Bit of a long shot, but worth the effort anyway...

Does anyone here know anything of this car (I presume black 456 6spd Fezzas aren't on every street corner)....

https://www.coys.co.uk/cars/1995-ferrari-456-gt-manual-gearbox

The agent was happy to chat by email, but not at all responsive when I asked about mileage or service history. Usually, when they go quiet on these matters, it is for a reason....

Other than telling you what a 456 is, surprisingly little detail. I can only remember a couple of black manual 456s, one was for sale at Verdis :0

I struggle to fathom how this car could lose any more money, especially if it's an 'investment'!

Looks very nice indeed and £70,000 service history I would say its been cherished.
Liking the yellow callipers too with the black.

That is a lot of car and it looks very clean. Mileage and history would be nice but with £70k spend you would assume it has been used quite a bit.

Is that for auction or a classified price - seems an odd estimate figure. Looks ok in all black and you don't see many. But you'd want a good SH to avoid rather large bills. Actually I think you'd get those anyway!
Would dearly love one, especially a manual, but the running costs could be grim.

Good spot MarkMas and the same car imho.
What is the "feature" on the top of the dash?
A mount of some sort?

Self adhesive pad for sat nav, you’ve got to be a proper cock womble to stick one of those on a leather dash.

That’s lovely. Winter tyres on it so factor in proper tyres as a cost, maybe a grand.

Below £45k and it’s a decent buy i think. Manual, v12 Ferrari. Yum.

Looks like it might be well below 45k as expected. I think I prefer the look of the 456 to a 612. Only thing I'm struggling with on the older V12's is they don't make too much power really. I'm not too fussed about the total power but I think I'd I went V12 I'd want 500bhp or you may as well go for a V8.

Tough one as is a fair bit cheaper than a 550 but can't help feeling the 550 would be the better option. I guess it depends what car use you need it for.

It looks like that link was from an auction in Feb 19 so I assume this is the selling price plus perhaps the buyers commission. It is currently for sale (no price given) in the their showroom
none of them seem to have prices.
This link https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1163852 suggests it will go to auction but there is no mention of when, unless sold it seems.

ETA - it was listed at their Syon Park auction in Oct this year so presumably didn't sell hence the classified ad by Coys. If the reserve was anywhere near £35-40k and it didn't reach even that either there is something obviously wrong with it or prices are descending rapidly.

And this is exactly my concern (the something wrong bit...not the prices descending rapidly). Something would have to be dramatically wrong for that car not to sell at 35K + buyers fee (circa 15%).

Perhaps the 70K in invoices was spent digging it out of a Cat C debacle.

At this stage I'm still awaiting the dealer's response on service history, owner history, recent maintenance and mileage....
