I’m not convinced I want to do a long term swap as I think the Mini is potentially a keeper.

However, genuine offer - could be a fun weekend...
I'm easy Jon...would work for me weekend or week or month whatever you fancy.

I'm just considering selling the Alfa as just not using it enough and had it a couple of years and an R53 Mini Cooper S would be a good replacement.

I can see you wanting to keep yours which is a good plan. I have my eye one one that works for me just waiting for the number to drop a bit. Has the JCW kit and conversion from new which is nice.

Loving my mini too - in fact plan to do some hill climbs in it when the wifes's new electric car comes along. Go for a later one (2005 - 2006) which should come with a LSD for even more laughs!

OK guys - I feel like I need to be sharing this. This is the most ridiculous value out there... my neighbor has been trying to sell his 612 for ages. Nothing wrong w it, he’s spent an absolute fortune to put it to pristine condition for sale. DK Engineering originally listed it for sale around £65-70k and he’s now gone direct and dropped the price to £46k...

I might reconsider my search for a 550 and go for that instead!!!

Isn’t that just the auction start price though?

No, I doubt it. An estimate is not the same as a start price. Plus it states the reserve is lower. The estimate is a likely range that is intended to be indicative of a selling price at auction. However, factor in commission on the hammer price.
