Tomorrow my car will be worthless

My QP was £14k two years ago, 115k miles now. Was an Irish car originally, nct.ie (Irish MOT) lists it as ‘scrapped’ - some funny business gone on there.

I’m at 85k miles and wouldn’t sell for less than £25k. It’s still fantastic and I know it’s history. Looking forward to racking up another 50k miles plus. In many respects, the fact that it’s no longer worth a great deal is a bonus as I don’t worry about being nicked.

Imagine nicking a DS/MC/CC? Key in, start, bleep, bleep, testing, bleep, spanner on display, handbrake off, pull paddle, warning about pressing brake before selecting gear, press brake, pull paddle, coppers have arrived, arrested....

I was looking at (really wanted the car) Yellow Lamborghini Muricelargo LP640 in Switzerland it had 43,000kms and the salesman said it was a german import. I did a US check revealed the car had 98k miles before it was imported and was in accident. So mileage of the car was probably 130k plus but the car looked immaculate. He sold it two months later at the asking price. The europe/ uk check does not reveal last milage. The salesman also had perfect service history book documenting the 43,000kms. Clocking for these salesman must be easy to get away with.

I feel a bit better now
My QP is on 73,000 miles and I was considering px but the offers are derisory and then depreciation on the newer car is more than this Yorkshire man can stand.
Up shot is I may well be keeping it

Mine’s already hit 32k... and about to add a few more on the Tuscan Tea Party trip.
Spare a thought for mine then - a QP with >65K on it! But this endeavour is a walk in the park compared to the two previous ones, mileage wise that is!

Well...it is gonna happen...tomorrow my 2010 QP V GTS will pass through 30,000 miles....trade in value.....zero!

My 2011 one just passed 50k.
These GTS’s are such good value now if I keep it 8 years, as old as it is now, and it’s worth zero then, it will still have cost me only about 3k/year!
I don’t know why everyone doesn’t buy them!

Think mine is just on, or about to tick over 14k, so 1k miles per year, but expect to add a lot more in September.....also, value plummeted, I guess....
