I do like this type of music and native American, must be getting old;)
Nice. Wonder if this was more Simon than Garfunkel. Loved some of his "solo" work with "other" musicians. Got a faint memory that he was accused by some of cultural appropriation after Gracelands. Brilliant album. Preferred Rhythm Of The Saints though which had a permanent slot in the cd changer at the time:

Another day at home with the vinyl collection. Between meetings I have been through:

Hanoi Rocks
AC/DC
Bruce Springstein

and about to play Huey Lewis and the News.

I'm still listening to Frightened Rabbit, it's compelling wrt to Scott Hutchison's suicide last year at North Queensferry on the Firth of Forth, especially when you listen to the lyrics on 'Floating on the Firth' which more or less describes his suicide plan in detail...

And I picture this corpse
On the M8 hearse
And I have found a way to sleep
On a rolled up coat
Against the window
With the strobe of the sun
And the life I've led
Am I ready to leap
Is there peace beneath
The roar of the Forth Road Bridge?
On the northern side
There's a Fife of mine
And a boat in the port for me

Chatted to a chap from M People today. Seemed genuinely disappointed that I only remembered Heather Small. Delusions of grandure, I said.
