Hi All Maserati Peeps
Any one planning to go to the Italia day Brands Hatch 18th Aug.
Couple of us it would be nice to go in together.
Possible meeting place is The Moat Pub TN15 7RJ bottom of Wrotham Hill. 10 mins from Brands and just of the M20 & M26.

Any one up for it please let me know so I can try to compile a list.

It’s a bit like herding cats (blind, deaf, drunk cats). People are coming from far and wide and most will be getting there earlier than the crowds.

Set a place and a time, those that can will join you. I’m coming from the north, so depending on how the journey goes I’ll try and join up.

Sure it will not be a problem for various convoys but we are still a month away and these things are usually a bit easier to arrange on the same week as the event when we all know whether or not we can make it, what the weather is like, etc. prior to committing to meeting up

Just thought to give this another highlight. LDM 3200 is selling tickets to give us access to his VIP box at Brands

Thought this might be of interest for those of us who have attended Brands several times and would like to experience it from a slightly different perspective. I know a lot of the regular SM attendee feedback from last year is that it is getting a little boring with the same race day format every year so this might be a good way to change it up a bit. Lee said that if we can get enough people together then he might be able to arrange a buffet or similar (for a small additional fee on top of the VIP box ticket)

We have access to a suite there and are able to get tickets so if you need additional tickets for a passenger etc they would be the same cost as general entry but give access to the suite.

I like the sound of that, a proper buffet instead of a dodgy horse burger...

I used this box at the Ferrari Challenge day, it has a great view and a couple of TV screens. I bought my son his Brands Hatch ticket months ago otherwise I’d have used the box again. Highly recommend.

Yup. Deluded. After a while you get used to fooling yourself that people are listening and that everything you say makes perfect sense!

I will be there anyway, I was not intending to charge for access to the suite but thought if anyone needed additional tickets I can supply them for the same cost as MSV and your more than welcome to come up to the suite. It's not a big room (restricted to 20) but MSV can supply a few buffet options if there was interest, however as you can imagine they are not "cheap" but are pretty good.

Not worried either way but offer there.

Just done a track day at Brands and it is an epic track. Along the Brabham straight at 120mph and then braking hard and turning into Paddock and then feeling your stomach go as you descend down the hill! OMG... anyone else driven it?
