I've put this in the houmour section as it's a bit of a joke
Take a guess how they valued a 2014 Stradale with 14,000?

I put my old Alfa 166 in and was brutally honest about it, 2001 car, this would be about 2009, they valued it at £75

Tried the GS about 18 months ago (just for a laugh). Very suprised it came back almost spot on at £25k which given their normal algorithm deiven responce was a nice surprise... expect it will be different today.

Who cars what WBAC think? It's worth about £60k (very approximately). But for a more accurate current valuation, chat to Dicky Grace.

That white car is the first Strad I’ve seen at under £50k, and if it is a nice example with sensible life left in the clutch, ceramics, etc, it’s a bargain. They’ve had it a while and clearly have decided to lower the price to shift it quickly now the summer is supposedly here.

The black one looks great and would be my choice of those two.

I’ve run twenty different Maseratis as my daily cars over the last 25 or so years (and driven many others) and can state categorically that the 2 seat Strad is the best road car they’ve ever made. By far. And with only maybe 30-40 RHD 2 seaters in the UK, a shore fire bet for future value add. (Look at the price of a Ghibli SS, the nearest equivalent).

What equivalent/better car can you buy for circa £60k? Nothing that tickles my fancy.

WBAC is a waste of time for most cars, especially high end. All decent / fair dealers would look at the current market, decide what margin they need on it to be worth their while, and offer accordingly

Standard GTs ive tried as a lowest and seen 13k. GTS at 18k.
Strangely a trial of a C63 coupe came out at 18k, only 3k less than dealers are selling them for.

They algorithm may think people who buy exotics care less about trade in prices for a bit of extra cash? Or they find them harder to shift on so dont care if the price gets taken or not.

I think when they actually come to appraise it, they ‘find’ all sorts to reduce the value. Much like taking a lease car back....

They came to my son's Alfa and had a quick look around it and checked for warning lights on the dash. That is all.
On line it came up as £7000 ish
On the day they offered him £6300 ish
He took it
