Totally rust free the 4 and a couple of little dings.
Character we call it.
Most of the interiors on the Boxster seem to be very German being black and grey etc.
I would fancy a nice brown or dog knob red for me ;)

They did a Nephrite Green interior which I really like but I think it’s super rare.

Phil get on m3cutters for great M advice.......As said sub frames an issue....manual more popular but nothing wrong with SMG but drive and see what you think. E46 M3 for me is still the sweetest M car. Beautifully balanced car.m

My Dads 911 that he had back in 1980 was Green.
There's an overload of Silver ones it seems.
Its fun looking around but they hold value more over here than the UK.

Boxster over the BMW, I just got rid of an E46 330Ci.

The seating position was shite, the ride was rubbish, the build quality was awful.
I won't be buying one again.
I'm 6ft 3" and I fit in a Boxster. I'd have one.
In fact they're a possibility for Le Mans.

Yeah I know about the diff pulling the boot floor out happened twice on my old Z3 M Roadster.
You can get the SMG flashed with the CSL software so could be interesting.
Thanks for your input mate.

Do it mate...As said I loved the CSL box. It was vicious in fastest mode. Prices are on the up over here as well Phil....Goods one are now beginning to be north of 10k. Will say love the Boxster as well and wouldn't say no to either. Everytime I drive a Boxster it feels so right. Perfect driving position, great handling.....Porsche do these cars so well.

Nothing wrong with an early Boxster, they have some advantages in terms of engine reliability and they’re more expensively engineered than the later ones, more aluminium in the suspension etc.

Whilst I'm a true beemer fan, and have had E36 and E46 M3 and loved them, for your requirements of a fun summer car I'd go for the boxter.

The 3.2s goes well and sounds great. It has more of a racecar feel to it seeing as the engine is only inches behind you and sounds like the air intake is in the cabin! It also makes a perculiar note change at a certain point in the rev range which gives it a bit of character.

Speed wise, there's probably not a lot between them. But the mid engine handling of the boxter will keep you more on your toes.

Phil, if you don't need the 4 Seats then although I'm singing the E46 praises I would go Boxster probably. It's a sports car and may feel that
little more special on the weekend blast.
