Relieved we have a crossing confirmed - I was starting to worry we wouldn’t get across.
Now I am worried what you guys get up to that means hotels you stayed at before don’t want you back .........
I’ll be traveling on a false passport and plates just in case ..............

When I drove through France in September I used Waze as Sat Nav and it marked all of the speed cameras with a policeman icon (in the UK it shows them as speed traps I guess it is against French legislation to do that)
TomTom calls them "safety zones". It's generally up to 1/4 mile early, but forewarened and all that!
In the 'bad old days' before UK joined the Common Market/1992 open borders (can't remember which, the gendarmes used to dip fuel tanks in lorries and charge the drivers for importing fuel...I kid you not.Important info to all.
Well in a break of not dealing with the yellow vests, Macron yesterday signed a decree that the British air in your UK cars tyres won’t conform in France after 29th March. So if driving over , the first thing you will have to do is stop and let the air out your tyres and fill them back up with EU air. Residents who bring their car over before 29/3 will be given 30 days to visit a garage and obtain an air exchange certificate.
And yet they are saying cross channel trade may be down as much as 87% after Brexit, someone is talking b0llocks. Project ‘Fear’ rearing it’s ugly head again?
It’s still all b0llocks. We used to have TIR which sealed the trucks and did away with border checks. It can be worked out but I suspect the EU would rather suffer a recession than give us a workable deal.
Shall we invite someone 'random' to our trip...Will Novak seems to be up for anything and he likes Maserati's...
