Thought I would update this thread. 7 grand gets you an 82,000 mile 09 Jag XF-S Luxury (the one with 271bhp).
My new work horse for now. Has all the toys, DAB, Bluetooth, heated windscreen, seat, black leather interior.
Bargain I think.

Doing a steady 80.... errr 70 (+10), you get around 40 mpg.
If you were to get the standard 3 litre (230bhp I think) I'm sure it would be 45, got for the 2.7 it would be more still.

I had 3 XFs prior to the GTS. Great cars - I'd buy another any day. Although mine were R's so only did 21mpg
