Killer Badges

Agree I'm sure it will be fine... In general the only potential concern with the fake badges from China is the quality of adhesive they use. I remember I bought a fake bonnet badge for my E46 BMW and seeing it come apart and fly off on the motorway (lol). There was just the chrome backing left on the bonnet... But that does not apply here because the badge is not made of two layers
Probably why it snapped off when using the detailer... something to be careful of when you are polishing her up for Christmas!

I'm still wearing my Beastie Boys VW badge at the mo!
:omg: I didn't want to 'bling':gamer: this up...but a fake oval nose badge, just simply says it all!
I'm off to 'stuff' the turkey - can't wait to see the look on it's face!
Merry Christmas!

These look as good as original, worth a punt if you need them. Re arrows, they should point to the front of the car I believe (well mine do :))

So we are saying these badges are worth a punt and are decent quality? Fancy some red striped sides and front for mine, if/when I go for the mesh grille to replace the slatted one...

Do what you want. No fun in owning a money pit if you can’t - as long as “it’s all done in the best possible taste!”
You have to live with her.

Here's my (presumably OEM) right hand Maserati emblem. You can clearly see the chrome peeling off the centre prong of the Trident. The arrow at the base faces forward!

Both mine used to face forward like this, until the arrow of one snapped off - snaffled by a detail polisher! Unfortunate accident exposed the fact that at least one of my badges was fake - no white plastic under the chrome, just a brittle almost grey composite substance - probably sourced from the slag of a local coal fired Chinese power station when she wasn’t looking. :conspiracy:

Hi Eb,
Attached is a photo of my left badge with broken arrow. It’s definitely a metal casting - rough with small air bubble inclusions that has then been chromed. Doubt whether Maserati would produce a plastic one. The OEM on the right seems to be the same too. Can’t get a great photo but best I can do. 1D62B8F1-F608-42EB-B3D2-6D7A36D7CC0D.jpeg
