The one thing that's missing from both versions is colour, which makes all the difference to a particular shape. The original as presented at Goodwood was a lovely car, but might perhaps have had more impact had it been in a vivid red, or maybe white with black accents.

Jurkowski's study looks a bit fussy at the back but again colour, and accents including the lights, would make all the difference. The front view is very impressive, and if I saw that in my rear view mirror I'd think 'what the **** is that?' as I moved over.

Either way, the powers that be should take a close interest in Mr Jurkowski's work.
