I think I have some in the garage but I’ve been scared off putting it on. Was told if you don’t apply it correctly you have to scrape it off with a razor blade...no thanks.

Tell me it’s not a nightmare to apply?

No that’s the stronger stuff conaero, the Crystal serum has to be applied be a professional, if you mess that up the only way to get it off is wet sanding.

The C2 is safe as houses, it’s a lot weaker version of the full fat stuff and very safe in our hands.

Clean and dry car then mist the C2 into the panels, then I ‘push’ it around the panel with a cloth, I’ll do a few panels and then go back to the first and completely wipe off with another dry towel.
Naturally ambient temp plays a part but you’re very safe with this stuff.

Use what you have, honestly the paintwork feels like glass afterwards

It's not that expensive either....just been checking it out. May get some. Use the Meguires one at the moment and that's quick and gives a great shine as well.

Do uou put it on top of your wax Ryan?

I haven’t waxed a car for maybe 8 odd years Dave. Since change of working lifestyle meant no spare time.
And I did discover this stuff, just wash, thoroughly dry and put on. I rate it much more than a wax.
They claim 6-8 months not sure you get that but certainly if you can do this 3-4 times a year, it takes like 15 mins to do.

I would love to get the Crystal Serum put on, it’s the hardcore stuff and you pay for it !

Ah it’s the litre spray one, yes I have that too. It’s ok I suppose. Demon Shine is just as good I would say but you do get the extra repellant properties with the C2.

Ive used this https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sonax-profiline-polymer-net-shield...Only one application so far as the car is relatively new to me. Six months ago now.
The paint wasnt greatest to start with so wont comment as to how shiney it makes it. Preceded with a wash, compound and polish with DA, Im unclear whether you can wax after, ot if tou need to ( I dont) the beading and runoff is phenomenal..which makes a quick wash down and dry off a breeze..!
I even got them to supply a can of pro paint prep (to make sure newly applied paint processes work without issue...)

Looks good. I prefer to use a synthetic sealant in the form of a wax than a spray on wipe off solution. IMO the extra faff gives more pop and is potentially a better barrier on the paint as it is possible to apply and leave to cure but also layer up several coats of sealant

Absolutely, 50 different ways to skin a cat and all good and everyone has their preference.

This is good for me as gone are the days I have hours to spend on the car, so a good clean and then 15 mins extra to put the C2 on is a winning combination for me.

But given it takes 15 mins and is relatively cheap it looks bloody good for very little effort and genuinely does provide protection.

I can only imagine Crystal serum is amazing, however a little voice wonders if just applying this 3-4 times a year is maybe a better option, that would be ignoring a full correction and serum and then toppping up with this of course which would be a winner by a mile.

Gtechniq is important from Dubai. The British side of the business is run by a relative on Liz's side of the family who currently lives in Dubai.

Starts at £9.95 for the smaller one.....Looks good value which I always thought Gtechniq was lots of pennies.

Was actually watching a video about all the detailing polishing and cleaning companies. The way they sell themselves you would think they all have there own manufacturing plant, when in fact there are very few and they all use just a few 'contract manufacturers" using stock base materials, with a tweek to colour/smell, and then their own bottle and label.
An exception, surprisingly, is autoglym, that have there own manufacturing facility in the UK.
