Good | morning every one.

Lay in 'till 6.30 today :D 2 jobs completed on MOT joblist yesterday +4 ADDED = 10. Progress at last! o_O
I just love a long joblist and a short deadline.

Some pressure on me to fix mine then!

Don't frazzle yourself Mr Muppet, injured Alfisti simply come under no pressure whatsoever for this event.
HOWEVER if it's just a spanner hand you need I can pop over to help if you have the replacement parts.

You sure you will be able to drive it by then though, I thought you were having a problem with gear changing which is why you were thinking of using the Merc. (and paying the full spectator entry fee to park in a dismal muddy distant field) - see, no pressure at all buddy. :strangle:

Well, It's Monday and the display situation seems to be this:

1. Fifty
2. Contigo
3. FernandosFasterThanYou
4. MrMickS - Alfa Spider
5. Kazzer
6. MarkMas - probably!
7. Phil H
8. Hashluck
9. Scaf
10. luckesGTV6 - Alfa GTV6 - probably!

So I have advised the organisers that we need space for 15 cars again this year in the hope that we will achieve the same display area and final numbers as last year. :)

Ah i see the confusion now... Fifty is an acronym of fernandoisfasterthanyou. It was time for a change of username :)

Hi Guys.

Latest squeal from the organisers is that we have display areas G3, G4, G5 and G6 ! allocated to us so we should have ample space for our cars to display.

(See attached paddock layout)

I have received three verbals from non forum members so hopefully we will have Alfa and Fiat spiders and another Alfa GTV on display.

I am hoping that the extra space that the organisers have allocated will not become an embarrassment and would ask members/non-members from all the Italian marques to consider the possibility of attending this event in your ‘Bella’ before the winter hibernation.

Please don’t forget to print off your Gate Pass from the attachment else you’ll pay the normal entry fee per person for your car and will be directed into a dismal field, remote from the paddock.
Our entry pass is per car and just beyond the the entrance where -

“Hayley Ali (07720364420) will be about to assist you. You can either give the £5 per car to her or come to the top of the Strawford Centre later on the day to give it to one of the staff members” ( J )

Our ‘echelon starboard’ display seems to present our cars well to the visiting public and I would suggest that we continue the tradition this year.

I hope to be there early to set a marker with the black GTV.

It would be good if you would provide a brief write up on your car for the public to fully appreciate what they are looking at.

Time to arrive at ‘Combe?

Organisers suggest -

“Gates open to the public at 9am so we would ask you to be in position by 8.45am at the latest, ideally 8.30am.”

I'm sorry I won't be able to make it after all this year. But I do recommend it as an amusing event - excellent bacon & egg sandwiches. If someone wants to borrow the flag and flagpole, I could hand it over at Llandow.

The hand is almost there, but I’m not sure I can fix and MOT the 164 in time, and I have a number of jobs I’ve been intending to do for a while so she is of the road at least until spring

Merc it will have to be unfortunately- if I stick the BBQ in could I get on our stand as the catering van?:p

I'm up for this, can you hold a spot for my 3200 GT?
(Including a write-up for the public to read)

I can probably get my father to pick up the flag from you at Llandow Mark, I'll PM you.

Hey @Gabs ... I'm actually going to come to this one and quite looking forward to it (been a no show at quite a few this year)

It is purely a display for us. The day itself includes a vehicle display, charity track ride alongs in exotic cars and some race or drift cars. There is also an autocross(?) Style small coned off circuit which anyone can have a go on for a charitable contribution but this is mostly small agile cars i.e. mx5's but id love to see someone throw a 400bhp 2 ton maserati around it ;)

The entire day is hosted by the Stroke association
