Hi all,
My driver seat squeaks and creaks when driving and somewhat annoys me a lot , I tried to add WD40 and some grease in areas at the bottom where I could access but still happening .

Anyone else had this problem and managed to resolve ?

It only happens during driving over bumps or uneven surfaces . I’m certain it’s from the seat and not outside of the car .

Only time I ever had something similar, there was a broken part, the snapped ends were rubbing together. (Not a GT)

I think the seats come out fairly easily

I managed to find the few spots which were making the noise .

First I did was I sprayed wd40 on the entire rail of seat closest to the Center console , but what I found out the major source was the metal parts of the seatbelt holder attached where was rubbing against the screw it’s holding and the frame of the seat , generous amount of wd40 and letting it set for half an hour cured the annoying as noise .

Did the same for passenger seat to prevent future squeaks

A number of members have applied copious grease and WD40 to their bottom areas. It's unclear whether this was in response to a squeaking seat or just because they enjoyed it. I'm sure someone will be along soon to confirm.

Realised last week that the backrest of my drivers seat it squeeking. Has been driving me nuts, I swore it was somewhere near the cupholders by the gearstick, and after a while driving & pressing various bits down realised it was when I lent forwards slightly!!!! It's going in anyway on Thursday (rearranged from last week) so have added it to the list!
