No mention of a chronic oil leak!!!

In fairness, he is using the same photo as Copart which says "OIL LEAK, DO NOT START" scribbled in yellow on the window... albeit a low res photo and choosing not to show the OSF 3/4 shot which makes this clearer.

Seller is being honest now in the description and dropped the price to £8,995... still too much for what need doing but about right given what he paid to buy it.

Description now states:

"STARTS AND RUNS VERY WELL GOOD OIL PRESSURE NO SMOKE NO RATTLES

THE CAR HAS A GEAR SELCTION PROBLEM . IT WILL SELECT GEARS WITH THE ENGINE OF AND IT GOES INTO GEAR NO PROBLEM, BUT WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING IT JUMPS OUT OF GEAR HENCE PRICE"

I presume that the vendor has attempted, but failed to fix the fault.

I would have thought that the car was driving at the time of the accident, unless a gearbox fault caused the accident. Maybe the disengagement fault is a simple fix, such as a broken wire or an oil supply problem.

Even if it is cheap to fix, the car is too expensive for me to get involved, given its condition and history.
