QP V Brake Discs & Pads

My pads are low & discs are not perfect. Any recommendations for pads and/or discs that isn't going to require me to bend over & pay Maserati OEM tax?

Might get away with a set of pads front & rear then change the discs next time round.

Was thinking EBC red or yellows.

Is there anything fancy about changing pads on a QP V? Or is it a standard DIY job? Changed the pads/discs OK on the 4200 GS hybrid jobbie last year.

I changed my discs and pads earlier this year fairly easy no fancy fixings just two pins, i'm guessing Maserati parts supply these but my ones were able to be reused and fitted snuggly. I bought my discs from Eurospares.co.uk about £140+vat a disc they had them on special offer at the time. There pads are not so cheap but found some on eBay that fitted ok and work well no squealing full set cost £80!

Be careful when ordering the discs though my car was registered in 2007 but turns out was built in 2006 and 2006/2007 was when the rear brakes specs changed the first discs I got were the wrong ones!!! But Eurospares were happy to refund them.

Thanks for that. I'll take a look.
How did you find changing the discs Rockits? I was going to put it in as a job but was quoted £1k for work and parts for the front discs only (pads are fine). I'm going to do this myself now reading the above but wonder how challenging/easy it is?

Not had to do the fronts yet but had to change rear handbrake shoes. Easy job. Unbolt caliper, remove 2x 10mm bolts from disc, gentle tap to remove. Hey presto. Assume front would be the same.

I will be needing rear pads soon and was window shoping. A couple of options that are both brembo but priced very differently. Are these the same?
