Luggage

Just picked up Jacquie from being a few days away.

She was travelling with a Samsonite standard sized suitcase.

I've a GT.

You know what I'm going to say, it would only just fit in, and only one way round.

We (well she) needs at least two such suitcases for a trip.

Since luggage space and sets seems a recurrent theme for most of the models, I'll just have to ask the question.

'Official' luggage set : £3464.95 .. Grief.

Some fancy named leather stuff with romantic names and logos even more expensive.

Hillsalive (thanks for the thread search) : £645 much more like it.

What have GT owners used that can be comfortably accommodated in the GT boot.

Not bothered about logo, or brand stuff, but decent quality, and at our age we're beyond rucksacks and bumbags.

Does anyone know of other than Hillsalive (six week lead) that do something decent, not particularly specifically for the GT?

Or has anyone come up with a decent alternative.

Or just bung it on the backseat and save meself £3465

Drop your GT off with us in Wootton Bassett and you can borrow the 4200 which has a bigger boot :)

If more you of tight-wads had bought the proper Maserati luggage we'd not be in the current situation of our beloved company trying to eek a profit out of family diesels. It would have made enough profit to still be building real petrol sports cars.

Possibly.

Ouch. I do so like badges on me bags, me shirts, me pullovers, watch.

I even wear epaulets and gold stripes (only 3 mind) when flying especially solo..

Not. I chose a Maserati not a Ferrari.

For some reason your allusions to epaulettes and gold stripes reminded me of this picture I took earlier today.

Crikey, the Mrs and I are soon off for 3 weeks to Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria - in a Spyder. I'd never even thought about the luggage.....shorts and T-shirts it is then.
