I pick up a silver 3200 Assetto Corsa GTA next week, car 23/75
Very Excited!
Very Excited!
I'm a bit sad in that I like to give my cars names and this one is Martina
Agreed, they should all have names, and nothing wrong with buying it back
Well, I've had the car for about 2 days now and I'm loving it!
Picked the car up from another member who could not have been better to deal with.
I did a 5.5 hour drive back, and was comfortable apart from my feet on the pedal box after a while, pedal box is cramped and at a weird angle.
I love the sense of occasion and have been impressed by how stable and planted the car feels on the motorway.
Outside of the motorway I've spent half of my time at varying degrees of yaw angle!
Exiting the M6 toll in Sport was the first time, splayed 45 degree sideways despite accelerating from roll and in a straight line.
I then took my father up the road once home, and it was cold and wet. When trying to demonstrate the on boost acceleration on the bypass you can imagine she got a bit squirrely quite a few times to say the least!
So, I absolutely love it! Sounds great as it has straight through rear pipes on an otherwise standard exhaust.
It's a very raw and rewarding car to drive!
I have been teetering round the corners a bit as I get used to it - a hot hatch was trying to goad me the other night when it was 2 degrees c and wet - I did't take the bait after 5 hours of driving, and concious that this car needs respect.
I've driven lots of on paper quicker cars, but this feels like pretty much most lairy car I have driven.
I think other road users will have no idea how hard and with how much concentration you need to drive this thing quickly.
Makes me smile

Excellent, they do take a bit of concentration, watch it doesn't come on boost mid roundabout. Treat it with respect and you will get on fine. Pictures?
