Ok, not in the midlands, but Joe Macari (Main Dealer) in London charges £480 plus vat for full geometry checks and adjustments, so that's a very similar price...
An indi with the proper equipment will charge around £350 (plus vat) for the same...
There are also various tyre fitting centers / etc, with hunter or equivalent 4 wheel alignment machinery that will charge far less.
you pays your money and takes your choice as they say...One thing I would add is that its best to go somewhere that is recommended.

Why is it so much on the GT compared to other cars?
All of those prices sound very expensive IMO. I use Wheels in Motion in Chesham, Bucks. Very well known in performance and race car circles and have the latest Hunter equipment. Quoted me £185 for my GranSport.

Took my Alfa GT to them a couple of years ago and after they'd worked their magic the car was night & day in comparison. That was just £60; the Maserati is more because of the shims. They are extremely well regarded
I got my GranTurismo done for about £100 when I first bought it, the same company done my R8 and Vantage prior to that. They have an all singing all dancing Hunter machine, it makes a big difference to the handling, £599 is just taking the ****, it takes less than an hour to adjust all 4 wheels, even less if they don't all need adjusting, the company I use charge £30 per wheel or £100 if all 4 need adjusting.
Did you use Wheels in motion or someone else?
Thanks
