Yes I believe they had a very early 2002/51 plate burgundy 2.5.They developed the M12 immensely though its life ( via the GTO, GTO-3 GTO-3R) to eventually become the M400, but the basic DNA of a fantastic chassis and driver involvement is the same! There was one for sale at ADG recently.

Owned it nearly six years, utterly adore it. It's my second one, the first I sold through lack of use,and I regretted it the moment the bloke drove off my drive in it! Took me 9 months to find another good one,but alas with kids duties, although its done 33k miles now, it rarely ventures out. It's quite possible we'll never see the like of its type of car again unfortunately.

Thats right bob - when you manually close the Valves, they will still auto open at 3k. Its a requirement of the engine at high rpm to expel exhaust gases as fast as possible.
Having done some homework on the 4.7 MC Granturismo's,and through that edging ever closer to finalising exactly what to look for for my perfect car, could someone please tell me exactly what the specs were with regard to the MC Sportline package?
Was it a complete package, or could it be tailor made piece by piece.
Were they all lowered/stiffened 10mm?
Would you expect it to pay more for a Sportline example, if two cars were otherwise the same in provenance?
I love the idea of the carbon, and also much prefer the appearance in being lowered 10mm, but the only examples of MC Sportlines I've seen are black or white, is this correct?
If any of you have driven back to back, is there any difference in ride comfort,(not that this will bother me!)
Any other infor you feel may be relevant, please go ahead!
Many thanks in advance for your help!
I suspect this is the case Andy - I wouldve been all MC Sportlined up, if they were available at those prices
Thank you!Very nice indeed!
Actually a lot of the cosmetic differences in the photo were done by me! I had the door handles colour coded,a Noblemods front splitter fitted and painted to match the wheels and door mirrors, clear side repeaters and red calipers etc.Lovely.....It looked so much better than the M12 with the little differences they made....
That's great info , thanks.Hi sjc,
I think there was an actual model called the GTS MC Sportline but wasn't available here and only made in limited edition, I presume to showcase the sportline parts that you could spec.
Having done a fair bit of research before I brought mine I would say the MC Handling Pack is well worth hunting out. I tried both skyhook and the handling pack side by side and whilst skyhook is fine the MC pack really sharpened the car up. The ride if anything is a better compromise between a little too soft or too hard with the skyhook. However the handling pack does seem to be a rare option.
The other sportline options were available individually but were much cheaper to spec when new. The cost of replacing just one of the front carbon splitters (1 on each side) is over £1K!
I think if you have carbon on the outside then the black window frames (as mentioned on here) look good. Carbon in the inside (instuments, paddles, dash etc) look great when combined with the right colour (IMHO) but I wouldn't pay more for these.
Also worth looking out for a 2012 model year (funds permitted!) as these came with 450hp, a small upgrade on the 2011 model.
Hope this helps a little and good luck with finding one.
Cheers
Blu

To my eyes it makes it look a bit more complete
