No vote for PZero's in the UK from me. I have Pilot Super Sports on the 4200 & they are great but more biased for good/dry weather. Also pretty expensive but only the best will do for my garage queen 4200

Best all round tyre for all weathers & best vfm seems to be Eagle F1 Assymetric's as others have said. I'm going to put them on the QP shortly. I've had them on previous cars & always been very happy with them.

I've got F1's on my Merc. They're very good, although tend to let go very quickly when grip runs out.
Quite pricey though.

If you fit 275's you really should tell your insurance company, so the benefit (questionable) vs hassle not worth it IMHO.

If insurance is not a worry, will +10 Front and rears improve Handling? I don't worry about few km wrong speed reading as well.

I have Vredsteins and really rate them. Recently did 1000 mile long weekend from London to Brecon Beacons - rarely above 5 degrees or dry but they worked superbly. Was amazed how hard I could press on - ran out of bravery long before I ran out of grip. They are stiff which is great for turn in but doesn't help comfort or noise, however.

(Friendly footnote: I'm sure you won't make the numpty mistake I did last year by mixing brands: Vreds on the front and Eagles on the back. The latter have softer sidewalls so the car would turn in, roll a fraction more at the back, at which point the suspension stiffened making the car feel suddenly loose mid-corner. Really unpleasant and ruined my enjoyment of the car. All rectified when I bought another set of Vreds a week later...and expensive brain fade moment! However, if anyone wants a set of barely used rear Eagles (3oo miles max) - feel free to make an offer before the wife turns them into plant pots...)

Another nod for Eagle F1s here although i'm sure the new Michelins would be just as good (not tried them first hand but usually a well balanced do all tyre). The Eagles seem built for the car (3200 AC in my case - quite stiff) and climate from my experience of them. Once warm they are very predictable and consistent wet or dry, give good feedback and have never snapped away on me however hard I've pushed them, always been a smooth break whenever they have broken traction in my experience. They won't beat specialised summer or winter tyres but if you want an all year tyre that won't lose all grip after 10 heat cycles and last reasonably well I'd recommend them for all stiffer set coupe cars. As with all tyres, pressures need to be kept in range or you won't get the life or feel from them . I drop a couple of Psi for the summer to allow for the extra heat too.

I have also heard Vredsteins are very good, not tried them myself.

Yup, had them on my GS and on my z4m before that, great tyres and highly recommended. I also like Michelin products so would be happy with them too.

It was Loz, the previous owner of your GS who told me this :) so I guess you inherited them.

Finally I got the Goodyear F1. 780£ in my local dealer the 4 wheels, so I'm very happy!

Well done in your climate you will be very pleased with them. Great tyre that really works on the GS.

If you were running Pirelli’s you will be blown away with the improved ride and lack of crashing suspension.

Alot of us ran F452’s which were brilliant, reports were the F453 wasn’t as good and that’s why the move to F1’s.

Nope. One of the first things I did was change the tyres to Vredestein. I inherited a mix and match set.

Ah, he did always run Vreds on that car, I remember he painted the Guigario emblem on the sidewall.

I also remember one of them exploding in France and having to be recovered home.
