Yeah, the chap first drove into the wheel-arch and stopped .... The other car did some serious wobbling .... he had no idea his car was even in contact with the one he was looking at!

Hmmm, I wonder. Given the other dents on his car, the ones visible at the rear, its not the first time I'd wager. The fact he stopped initially and then carried on regardless! Perhaps the individual just doesn't give a rats do-dah. One for the Police to sort out - for his own sake as much as anyone else.

Once worked for an insurer of an elderly chap who would prang his Ferrari now and then. "Oh - I just bumped the garage wall" or "I just touched the post" or some such like.
Doing £1000s of damage each time - but he was happy to pay an ever increasing premium. Does the insurer have a moral responsibility?

None emergency line call to the Police and they will give you an email address to send the photos and take the details from you.

You will have done your bit for society and if Gramps is unfit for the road then you may have played an even more important part.

The least significant outcome is that some poor sod with a scraped up car will be able to get it repaired. If that was my car I’d be very appreciative.

Well, I reported it to the Royal Surrey Hospital parking enquiries and received a reply from the hospital's head of security requesting my photos and a brief statement, so I've now sent these on. I hope this results in at least the poor victim being recompensed.
