It looks clean in the advert...worth a look and going over with a fine tooth comb.

Was thinking that...does feel like a scam because of the advert but it looks in good nick for the money. Get an independent to look over and it could be a bargain....or lemon....worth a look though.

Oil leak and exhaust could be costly for a start.

Would be interesting to have a look though

Like you say probably too good to be true. i cant find much on the dealer review wise and the obvious scams usually have a different contact number in the body of the advert.

link to the dealers own website is here: http://www.cherryorchardchariots.co.uk/search_page.php?make=48&model=1684&price=

description seems to be fairly honest or open:

It does seem like it's a straight ad. <shrug>

Someone get in and take a look. Even with £5k of work it could be a deal

Looks genuine but will need a few grand spending to address the issues which push to towards the £11k mark which is closer to market rate for an 80k car

I'm not so sure that early higher miles AB4's are not getting into this price area anyway. Certainly getting down to £10. My 57 plate Executive GT with 58k miles was just under £17k. That is a later ZF auto as well.

As we all know with a few things wrong and a few things not done when they should have been and you can easily look at 5k or more to resolve. Then add a clutch and the price levels.

Why would you buy a dog? When a decent one can cost not much more. Buy the best you can afford with a little left over for contingency.

Worth a look. Could be a good car at the price. A minor oil leak and exhaust leak could be easy DIY fixes for all we know. And it may have recently had a service, brakes, clutch, tyres, etc, so could be a bargain. If someone wants a cheap QP they may as well ask the questions and have it inspected.

This is the sort of car that would get bought on Wheeler Dealers and you could get lucky on the fixes required, certainly worth a look as a project at that price

Another trader trying to pass off a car to the public with no warranty , it's not a cheap car , with those faults and that mileage it's at retail money IMO

I'd bet the trade bids are 5-6k

Talking of dogs. There's a QP on Co Part atm. Can't insert the link on my tablet, but it's easily found. I'm not after a QP, but always interested to hear your 'take' on cars :)

I reckon it could be a good buy looking at MOT history etc, get him to put a new one on it and it is a steal.

Do you think he's likely to fix the handbrake and airbag light to put a new test on it
