The car is still for Sale - good deal to de done if you have cash waiting

Not for me... it's out of my league I'm afraid. Lovely looking example although I know it's been up for sale for a while.

I've still yet to ascertain whether I can find comfortably in them, for longer than 20 minutes, yet! (just waiting for better weather to meet up with a forum member to try out a 2012 plate).

The PistonHeads GT saga continues.

All went quiet for several days on the part of the owner and I was as all set to buy something else,
until I got a call today to discuss closing the deal.
So, this week or next, the car will be gone over forensically by a specialist.
Couple of questions to anyone, not bored rigid by this thread already!
This car is at 80k miles. I'll only be doing a few thousand regular miles annually, but I'm wondering if the value
will drop off a cliff at around 100k? I plan to do more than the suggested service intervals, as much preventative
maintenance as poss and record all work done, but will that do much to mitigate, when I sell?
I'm guessing that the engine will be too warm to cause any of the cold start variator clatter, if these need attention.
I'm checking with the main dealer who's serviced it, what recalls have been done, as well as the engine number.
However, is there any way of checking the variators on a warm engine?
Cheers guys.

80k will be fine, narrow mindedness or people after a deal may effect value after 100k but shouldn't..

There are plenty in Europe with 100k+ . Mentality in the UK seems to be stuck in the 70s when a car would be fit for scrap well before 100k, remember when mileometers only went to 99,999!?

Bolster wear really relates to how many times people get in and out. So good to see high mileage with little wear, long motorway journeys perhaps. Nice looking car.

Seen 30k miles GT's with loads more bolster wear than that one.

More to do with material too, ie Jeans kill bolsters.
