That staccato touch on the throttle pedal was unique. You could really hear it from the trackside. Prost said he tried copying it but couldn't get it to work for him. I'm sure he's not the only one who tried.

Spot on mate, the way he taps it and makes the car song is amazing, try that and get it wrong and it would massively unbalance the car.

I do like these...Drove one when they came out and it was fun...No matter what you say about the Japanese cars of this time they saw a number of holes in the market and filled them very successfully with cars that drove well and looked good.
