Having a little clear out of the laptop and hopefully this will be useful for someone.
I had issues while insuring my 3200 last year with some companies saying as the alarm isn't Thatcham approved etc etc they wouldn't insure.

Anyway, I contacted Maserati and they provided me with details to give to the insurer.
How can I upload the file here?
Its a PDF and only 130KB but saying its too large to upload.

Those factory fitted Meta alarm/immobiliser systems on the 3200/4200 and lots of other's are Thatcham approved anyway..

My car has a Toad alarm and locking system, which i am not sure if its standard or not? It however has a thatcham cert and this keeps insurance companies off my back. Having said that car's worth bu&&er all these days so i am not sure how much difference it makes?

I have been asked every year if the alarm is "thatchem approved"
The 3200s never were, the 4200s are from what I have learned.

Happy to share just cant upload with the document size limits.
Will screen shot the document and see if I can get around the limit that way.

Seriously, you would not believe the arguments I had with many insurance companies over this............
